Welcome to Fleetwood YMCA, my name is Dave Parker and I am the General Manager here at Fleetwood YMCA.

The centre is situated next door to the Marine Hall. The swimming pools first opened to the public on the 27th March 1974 with a Sports Hall being added to the facility ten years later on 12th May 1984.

New - Fitness Suite & Changing Facilities

In January 2008 thanks to considerable investment from Wyre Borough Council and the generosity of the Lofthouse Foundation and Sport England we at Fleetwood YMCA were able to install a purpose built air conditioned fitness suite with state of the art equipment, overlooking the pool hall. Our qualified fitness staff are happy to offer inductions, personal training and fitness assessments to suit your individual needs.

In addition to the Fitness suite we installed a new changing village with improved family and baby changing facilities. Privacy is enhanced with individual, double and family lockable cubicles and new improved showering facilities. We have also been able to improve our disabled changing facilities to improve access for everyone in our community.

In addition to this, the reception and front of house areas have also been refurbished providing a more open and user friendly entrance to the centre and its facilities.

Health and Physical activity of all levels and abilities has never been more fun or easier to access, at Fleetwood YMCA we can provide a wide range of activities for all ages.
These include; Adult and Junior lifestyle classes, with a range of activities to suit every age group. We have a Sports Academy, swimming and Y Kids and Y Tots activities with an excellent swimming lesson programme for all ages.

Fleetwood & District Swimming Club

Based at Fleetwood YMCA and Poulton YMCA the club promotes a friendly and family orientated atmosphere.

The club encourages swimmers of all ages and abilities in a variety of different aquatic sports:- Competitive Swimming, Masters, Water polo, Lifesaving and Modern Pentathlon.

You can contact us via our website below or call into Fleetwood YMCA - Monday and Wednesday after 6.30pm or Tuesday at Poulton YMCA after 6.00pm.
