Launched on September 1st 2008, Harry’s is our latest exciting
venture. Based inside St. Annes YMCA, Harry’s aims to be the
best children’s indoor soft play centre on the Fylde Coast and
beyond!
But who really is Harry? Well, Harry is our BIG cuddly giant
and he is actually based on the loving memory of our former
Executive Officer, Harry Richards M.B.E. So as you can probably
tell, Harry’s is very close to all of our hearts.
Harry’s is open 7 days a week for children aged 6 months — 10
years. A seating area with food and refreshments is available,
so you can relax as your little ones have fun exploring Harry’s
soft play kingdom.

Back in December 2007, Fleetwood Leisure Centre underwent
a £1 million transformation with major reinvestment in the
swimming pools, the Fitness Suite and the introduction of a new
family friendly changing village.
Now in 2008, the new developments have revealed further
opportunities including the expansion of the Fitness Suite to
include a new Performance Area. It houses more state of
the art power training equipment, to improve the speed and
strength of community and elite sports people. Access to the
Performance Area is to be automatically added to the Prestige
or the Health & Fitness Membership Packages. All other entry will
be admitted on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.

Not necessarily a time machine, but definitely defying relative
dimension — The Lofthouse Building on London Street, astounds
everyone who enters.
Originally built as an engineering works manufacturing winches for fishing trawlers, the inside of the building has been completely transformed in 2004 thanks to funding from the European Social Fund, Single Regeneration Budget, the Big Lottery and Fylde Coast YMCA amongst others.
“So what’s inside?”, you may ask. The building boasts a
recording studio, dance and fitness studios, downstairs café
and seating area, a host of Board, meeting and training rooms,
an arts and crafts studio and the OFSTED registered Y Tots
Nursery for 0 – 4 years. Can you actually believe all of this is
under one roof?
And to add to all of this — a new Fitness and Relaxation
Programme has launched taking full advantage of the
specially designed dance and fitness studios. The new classes
are open to members and non members can join in on a ‘pay
as you go’ basis. The new programme includes Hips, Thighs,
Tums and Bums, Dancersize, Cheerleading, Hi Lo Aerobics and
much much more throughout the week.

The team at Fylde Coast YMCA Performing Arts Academy have now extended their programme to Lytham YMCA's new dance suite. The new exciting programme includes Adult Tap and Adult Freestyle along with a whole host of sessions for youngsters aged 2 and upwards.
