A warm welcome to Poulton YMCA, we have a range of activities to suit your interests and to keep you and your family healthy, active and entertained.

Our new gym was installed on the 1st April 2006 and boasts 40 stations of state of the art equipment including cardiovascular, resistance and free weights. The gym is fully air conditioned and televisions are situated around the gym for your viewing pleasure.

We have a dedicated team of fitness staff, who will be happy to discuss your personal needs and in addition to our membership packages we offer one to one personal training.

Poulton YMCA also boasts a Health Suite area which includes a sauna with the seating capacity of 12 people and a steam room with the seating capacity of 7 people.

We have a relaxation area within the health suite that includes chairs, loungers and complimentary drinking water and also a dedicated 'boxing' room which is available to all members.

Also, now based at Poulton is Ian Mortin, a qualified Sports Rehabilitator, who has set up his own Sports Therapy and Massage Clinic. Ian is available to treat all manners of sports injuries, back pain, massage and much more - all at a special rate for YMCA members.

The 20m swimming pool is user friendly and is suitable for all levels - our programme includes swimming lessons for all ages, aqua aerobics, fun swims, adults only and mums, babies & ladies.

The pool is also available for private hire for birthday parties, school, groups, scouts / brownies etc. Please contact us for a full list of pool opening times.

The community centre is an additional part of Poulton YMCA and hosts various classes and activities suitbale for all ages and ability.

In addition to the various activities the centre can be hired for functions and special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and christenings. Bar and catering facilities are available for all private hire bookings.

Catering for businesses we have the ability to host your meetings, training events or conferences. Facilities include beverages, catering and multimedia facility.

Based at the centre are community groups and projects that run their own programmes ranging from activities for toddlers, martial arts and society groups.
